It was a great opportunity today at the Victorian Pride centre to celebrate LGBTQIA writers with the announcement of the Pearl Prize. Really enjoyed meeting some of my fellow contributors and picking up a copy of this year's collection. #Midsumma #pride #LGBTQIA #lgbtqiastories #lgbtqiawriters #shortstories #writing ##midsummafestival2025 #melbourne

My second story is in print thanks to the Pearl Prize. Really enjoyed this year's theme 'Queerness beyond the ML and AI'. #lgbtqia #Midsumma #pride #lgbtqiastories #lgbtqiawriters #midsummafestival2025 #Melbourne #shortstories

It's official! I am finalist for the 2025 Pearl Prize as part of next year's Midsumma festival here in Melbourne. It is another huge step in my journey as a writer after being published at the start of the year. This definitely feels a bit more rewarding to be recognised alongside other LGBTQIA writers. #Melbourne #Australia #writing #lgbtqia #trans #lgbtqiastories #lgbtqiawriters #midsummafestival2025 #shortstories #writinglife #storytelling
