Überraschung: linke Mehrheit ist möglich – aber nicht ohne Arbeit
Ich weiss ja nicht, ob Sies schon wussten, und ich weiss auch nicht, ob die das Heute Abend in der Glotze überhaupt zeigen. Aber die Marktforscher*innen, die für das ZDF-Politbarometer arbeiten, haben in ihrer sog. “politischen Stimmung” eine linke Wähler*innenmehrheit errechnet. Ich weiss auch nicht, warum: Grüne 23, Linke 14, SPD 13. Zumindest ist das originell.
Nun bin ich der Letzte, der was auf die Wahrsagereien von Markt- und “Stimmungs”-Forscher*inne*n gibt. Und die jüngere Vergangenheit dieser Republik lehrt, dass rechnerische Mehrheiten ohne politische Substanz wertlos sind. Politische Substanz verlangt nämlich Arbeit. Und nicht nur bündnispolitische.
So wäre es nicht verkehrt, wenn in Parteivorstaänden und Fraktionen der genannten Parteien diese immerhin schon zwei Jahre alte Dissertation der Belgierin Julia van Dessel zur Kenntnis genommen würde. Sie enthüllt auf wissenschaftlich fundierte Weise, auf welchem falschen Damofer Deutschland und die EU gegen Afrika durch die Weltgeschichte irren. Der gesamte von Politik und Medien genährte Diskurs geht an der Wirklichkeit der Menschen vorbei und ist durchsetzt von Heuchelei und (kurzfristigem!) Eigennutz.
Diese Erkenntnisse verdanke ich der deutschsprachigen Rezension von Christopher Chanco/ejo-online: “Informationskampagnen zu Migration: Die Regulierung von Mobilität in Westafrika”. Diese Kampagnen, die sogar schon eine gebräuchliche Abkürzung kreiert haben – “MICs” – sind von der EU teuer bezahlt, und stehen in direktem Gegensatz zu Flüchtlingshilfe und -rettung, weil sie auf Mobilitätsbekämpfung ausgerichtet sind. Und das so unglaubwürdig wie erfolglos. Weil sie in erster Linie der Legitimation und Rechtfertigung rassistischer Politiker*innen in ihren reichen Wähler*innen-Ländern dienen. Aber teuer. Nichts ist umsonst. Eine eigene “Branche” ist um den Wirtschaftszweig der “MICs” erwachsen, die sich selbst lobbyistisch zu ernähren vermag. Super, oder?
Wer eine linke Mehrheit politisch, und nicht nur rechnerisch, realisieren will, die*der müsste dieserart verlogenen Rassismus öffentlich bekämpfen, statt ihm hinterherzudackeln. Ein weiter Weg, nicht nur für die genannten Parteien – ich weiss.
Überraschend immerhin, das diese erkenntnisfördernde Veröffentlichung vom Erich-Brost-Institut in Dortmund ausgeht. Hat Gerhard Schröders Chef-Intrigant Bodo Hombach da zuwenig aufgepasst? Nein, “Institut” und “Stiftung” sind nicht dasselbe. Und wissenschaftliche Unabhängigkeit ist ein hohes Gut. War es auch für Erich und Anneliese Brost. Ihre reiche Erbengemeinschaft “muss Steuern sparen”.

Having said what I said in my last post, does anyone want to purchase a lovely large diaphragm condenser microphone that uses the vintage Neumann KM84 circuit? These mics sound fantastic and considering the relatively small body size you can use them in a bunch of places you wouldn't be able to use larger mics. In various nooks and crannies of the drum set for example.
It's bedtime so I don't have time to post a pi#c or anything else but I will tomorrow.

Here's a little tease of a project I am working on. This is a mic I'm selling to a friend. I can make more if there's interest. It's basically a proto U87.
The transformer with the yellow label is from a mic manufacturer, and it's fairly pricey. The other larger transformer is identical in terms of electrical specs, it's just bigger and less expensive, which in this case is fine since it's going on a large diaphragm condenser body.

Cool, I ordered some nice but inexpensive capsule mounts from AliExpress and they have arrived. Can't wait to build some mics with this. Maybe even sell some.

I just did an Aliexpress order for some mic capsule mounts. I found some nice ones made in China, and I'm saving about $22 per mount compared to the place I was getting them from.
I'd like to sell some FET847 mics, which are large diaphragm condensors made using the classic Neumann KM84 amplifier circuit.
They're almost like mini U87's since the U87i circuit was based on the KM84 circuit.
Here's what the first one I built looks like.

I've got my 3-D printed mic clips for the Double-MS rig I'm building.

Since I use different mics and have a different windshield I had to improvise a bit but so far this seems promising.
Have to wait for the cables to arrive, so I can finalise and test the setup truly.
Maybe I will add some suspensions to it but will first try this. -

I have a Rode PodMic that I use for online stuff (Zoom/Meet/Teams/WebEx, etc). Works great. I also have a GLS ES57 that works great as well. It's one of my “backup" mics I have along with a real Shure SM57, and a couple of Plye Pro SM57 clones I bought and modded. Honestly, the GLS one sounds great for $17.
