Chinese courts allow heirs to inherit accounts of deceased gamers — multiple cases spanning years establish precedent for digital ownership of games, in-game items, and microtransactions

I put the six flats of eggs down, took off my cap and wiped the sweat from my eyes.

I keep seeing articles/posts telling me that battle passes in games are fine as its all optional and cosmetic.

To those people I just want to let you know there was a time before games had micro transactions and battle passes. The same content existed for us back then, but it was all built into the game, and you had to unlock it by playing the game and achieving cool feats.

Why would anyone prefer to pay for this stuff? Do you even enjoy playing the game?

So many #microtransaction games have "gradual shutdowns" where the game is gone forever and so is all the stuff you have paid money for.

I have played some #Gacha games before and enjoyed them quite a bit in some cases, but I would never put money into them as they always seem to follow the trend of being up for a couple of years, sapping whales cash then closing down and opening a new one.

Oracles verify that servers verify challenges based on hashes of content. I'm thinking multiple redundant alternative DNS names.
