Now that Microsoft is killing Project Online, it's a great time to share this #MicrosoftProject names and logos history pic.
40 years of Project.👏 I don't expect the Planner brand to be around for even a decade.😏
Taken from this article:

Another nail in the Microsoft Project coffin as Project Online will be shut down at the end of Sep 2026:
https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/plannerblog/microsoft-project-online-is-retiring-what-you-need-to-know/4450558Some lessons:
* Often partity never arrives (P4W).
* Promised migration tools don't either.
* Growth matters more than existing customers.More thoughts in a LI post (since that's where MS Project folks seem to hang out):

Any #Microsoft #Project pashas out there (or whatever you call yourselves)?
My colleague has a client near #SanDiego who uses #MicrosoftProject internally, but needs some help improving processes and possibly training their users. I think they want someone local or who can visit, but if you’re looking to #getfedihired for a small engagement, message me privately and I can put you in touch with my colleague.
I don’t have more details, including compensation, and I’m sorry. But I can find out.

This kind of problem was easily solvable 25 years ago in a typical Windows spreadsheet or word processing program by just opening 2 instances of the program. But apparently Microsoft Project is too precious to allow opening two instances of the program simultaneously.

Apparently, there's no way to have two different #Microsoft Project 365 projects open in two separate, simultaneously-visible windows. You can open two files, but they are both open in the same window; you can alt-tab between them, but a web search confirms my experience that there's no way to get them into separate windows. The closest I found was tips on how to split the window with one project visible in each half. Complete garbage.
