But it disrupts the flow, as you then have to tab or click.

Also pasting, then later adding the ``` doesn't really help.

Trying to decide between #Notion, #Obsidian and #MicrosoftLoop... Decided Obsidian is out bc of the sync fee and Loop isn't 'finished' yet. Until Loop gets database support (or Lists integration) Notion is the one for me. #productivitytools #notekeeping

draft - the reason google docs kinda works a little bit with my dad (even though i'm the only one who types on it, he doesn't type, and i'm not sure if he actually reads it either) is because, when i was being a shill for telegram about a year ago, and talked about how i could edit messages, in terms of having a platform where i can edit messages with my father, google docs makes more sense because of version history. because, for my dad, he sort of deserves to see theoretical version history if he really wants to i guess right? but like, for a coworker or a manager, i don't really know if i'd want them to have version history right?

I have been checking out the Microsoft #Loop preview tonight. So far, so . . . fine? It looks nice. Works well enough for what it is. Seems like a more #Microsoft365-ish OneNote?

I guess my major question is: why did *this* take so long? They've been talking about it for, what, two years, at least? And it's still not generally available. And it's not like they had to start from scratch—I'm told it's a virtual photocopy of #Notion, which I haven't had any reason to try to date.

I played around with MS Loop, as I'm still searching for a note-taking tool to fulfill my needs.

1. Mobile App is not available for personal accounts for now
2. there is no history of edits and no way to go back (at least in web version)
3. "select any text & right-click to format it" with no support for markdown
4. funny thing at the beginning of paragraph `#` etc works for headings

2&3 is deal breaker for me.
