Because people's accounts will keep getting compromised and/or they'll keep getting locked out of their accounts. It's one big hoax.

FFS: Microsoft is going to pull every single bit of users digital lives no doubt in order to suck into their shitty AI and there'll be nothing users will be able to do about it ...... except, I dunno, 🤔 maybe migrate to Linux.

The research paper (after being forced to allow third-party nonsense: cloudflare.com, hypothes.is, pensoft.net) points to #EarthArXiv [1][2] running on #Janeway that claims [3] to be #AGPL :))) but hosted primarily on #MicrosoftIsEvil (aka github) :(. Lack of uploading #LaTeX source is a weakness: "Papers should be submitted in PDF format." [1]
