...I just learned that Office Open XML is actually an open format. If you were used to LibreOffice, you wouldn't actually know that since they push for ODF. I feel a bit more emboldened choosing OnlyOffice, now.

Another low for #Microsoft: Software that you've paid a one-time fee for will soon just outright lose the ability to create, edit or save documents.
Sure, not *supporting* old software after a certain point is reasonable. But stripping software of its core functionality under the premise of an expired certificate is straight-up foul play, if you ask me.

Ich will kein #MicrosoftOffice mehr auf meinem PC, finde aber sowohl LibreOffice als auch OnlyOffice für das Erstellen von Präsentationsfolien nicht wirklich gut nutzbar.
Also nächster Versuch: Markdown to PDF. Gibt es da irgendwelche empfehlenswerten Frameworks bzw. Tools?

@DanielMReck @readbeanicecream when Microsoft tried to charge a subscription for #MicrosoftOffice I installed OpenOffice on my Mac laptop. Figured I’d use it until something I needed to do required I go back to MSoffice.
All these years later, nothing requiring me to go back to office has come up.
