  1. 300k years of #HomoSapiens and not a single civilization?

How about this piece of #alternativeHistory #microfition

The phenomenon of #UncannyValley is our ancestor's defense against #AI, that destroyed our first, long forgotten civilization, back during the #Toba catastrophe populational bottleneck, when humanity got reduced down to 1000 ppl. We had a great digital civilization based on plant-derived conductive polymers instead of silicon. The Thousand who survived the Raise of the Machines have won only because they all shared an instinct to recognize the #AISlop at first glance just like we can easily recognize a snake on the ground. The reaction of disgust is why they won after a long and bloody war. Their heritage is in our veins now. It's our turn.
