Fortunately no damage was done but the fence. Chickens are all accounted for and the beehives are still going hard with the current nectar flow.

I added honey supers this morning to give them some room for stores as they’re positively packed with brood.

Yesterday on the #microfarm we planted our #garlic , appx 64 cloves (10-11 oz, 300 g) each of Spanish Roja and Purple Italian. Cloves we planted yesterday were the best heads we harvested last year, when we planted a pound (450 g) of each. That just barely fit in one bed, and it was more garlic than we needed, so we're cutting back a little this year.

We planted a bit late this year, busy building our chicken coop and then got slammed with a month-long storm. Thank god for the rain, though!

My spouse and I are turning our yard into a #MicroFarm with ~35 fruit trees, berry bushes, 8 garden beds, and #chickens for eggs & some #RegenerativeAgriculture (hat tip to @beautfc for community-building via gardening)!
