  3. @lindawoodrow Love the article! I dropped it into 2 of my #flipboard magazines.

    My 2¢ addition: in an urban 🌎 growing food is a way to reconnect, to #observe & interact with #nature directly. To see interconnected life, the #balance of #ecologies, to see #firsthand how #microclimates work. It is a lot harder to deny these mechanics on the #global scale when you are a part of them on the micro scale daily. Those #systemic ideas spill over into every other part of life, which CAN effect #poverty
