Jan Oberg Talks About World Peace with Lena Petrova.

[Editor’s note: Like virtually all peace activists, Jan Oberg’s voice has been suppressed or censored in the USA/West. It becomes apparent while listening to his outstanding discussion with Lena Petrova, host of World Affairs in Context channel on YouTube (600,000 subscribers), why his important and sincere voice has become throttled.

Here is my brief comment in response:

Jan Oberg coined the term/acronym MIMAC (Military-Industrial-Media-Academic-Complex).

Ray McGovern uses the MICIMATT (Military-Industrial-Congressional-Intelligence-MEDIA-Academia-Think-Tank) acronym because it’s easy to understand and remember.

A one-on-one discussion between Mr. Oberg and Mr. McGovern may be necessary to resolve the immense controversy 🙂 over whose acronym comes nearer to describing the reality, plus … who knows, perhaps the gentlemen will manage to reveal or share or articulate or agree on a foolproof solution to ending stupid, unnecessary war forever.

Call it “The Great MIMAC vs. MICIMATT Debate” … Or, as Mr. McGovern is a few years older than Mr. Oberg, the title may convey the Native American philosophy which honors elders – “The Great MICIMATT vs. MIMAC Debate”… 🙂

1069 – On peace rather than military geopolitics – with Lena Petrova

I am very happy and honoured to have been interviewed by Lena Petrova and her amazing YouTube Channel – World Affairs In Context that has almost 600 000 subscribers.

She wanted to focus more on peace and peace thinking than on geopolitics which is omnipresent nowadays, does not address solution and, mostly, contributes day-to-day commentarism on military-related affairs.

So, here is why peace thinking is so different from the mainstream geopolitics…

And it must be a good perspective, ’cause in two weeks 60 000 have watched and over 500 written very appreciative comments.

Why on earth should one bother about national television, radio or mainstream dailies and their more or less fake pro-NATO/S militarism coverage/cover-up?? It is people like Lena who are changing the world now…

While that is a good abstracted "effect of fascism" the story is simple.

Seems a lot is contributing to the hike. The world has been pushing to reduce its reliance on #fossilFuels and limiting supply.

As the above alludes to #inflation, govts have been inflating the money supply 'something shocking' over the past years.

So a confluence of problems are at play.

We don't believe that conflict will break out. Aggitators are being arrested last we heard, and Eastern #Ukraine is not a stranger to changes like this.

It's been a boon for the #MICIMATT, though.

After the #dotComCrash we may have questioned our so-called #capitalism more — if we didn't have the #twinTowers collapse, that is.

They're really doing a good job at getting kids into #ethereumScamTokens.

The price of #oil fluctuates and yet its usable — not politically (due to climate/peakOil) but physically, its usable.

The same applies to CCs (#cryptocurrencies).

The political issue with CCs is they are slowly making the defense about actual defence. Under a #hardCurrency, wars cause real wealth loss, as opposed to just paper, re-printable wealth.

That proposal is effectively #trickleDownEconomics mixed with #priceFixing, it hasn't worked for 51 years. It entrenches #neoFeudalism via the #cantillonEffect.

We're not big supporters of #meatEating. It'd be great for many, including in terms of #publicHealth, if we were somehow limited in our #meat intake.

Bitcoin ultimately limits extreme military spending (and its #consumption), because rather than feeding the #MICIMATT with the #stealthTax (ie. moneyPrinting), the govt will need to tax directly, thus will naturally limit the grift. The military complex dwarfs #bitcoin energy use. The #banking sector also uses double the energy of BTC and that is during COVID when they are not using #airTravel to rub shoulders with power every other day.
