Man who lost eye awarded $4M verdict after suing Clinton Township officer who punched him in face
The backstory:
According to Marko Law, police were called in April 2021 by a person reporting people cutting through a yard. When Setty arrived and encountered Reiff, he allegedly ran. Setty chased Reiff while yelling, "Whoo, baby, I’m gonna tase you, bro."
Attorneys for Reiff said that when Setty caught up with Reiff, he punched him in the face, squishing his eye _ “like a grape,"_ according to medical testimony. Reiff also suffered facial fractures that required multiple surgeries.

Heard today on #MichiganPublic that there is a growing problem of #weed extract for CBD being diverted and chemically converted for the THC market. They focused on its use in vape cartridges, but said it is also used in edibles.
I suspect that the odd overpowering maple-ish flavor I’ve tasted in some cheap gummies might be a result of that. Disturbing.

I didn't go to either school and am not a college football fan unless the Cal Bears are playing Stanford (which they did last week to retain posession of the Axe) but today's game between Michigan & Ohio State was pretty exciting with Michgan beating Ohio State 24-30 for its 3rd win in a row over Ohio State to advance to the Big 10 championship game next week vs Iowa.
Michgan (12-0) should be favored to win over Iowa (10-2).
