It's quite mesmeric, Monica Vitti is quite good at appearing to have the sort of nervous energy you'd expect her character to have. Richard Harris is a bit flat, being overdubbed doesn't suit somebody with his natural gravitas.

I liked the languid pace, however I wasn't overly convinced the plot was fleshed out enough, it felt almost superfluous.

I saw L'ECLISSE (1962) w/ Monica Vitti and Alain Delon at Film at Lincoln Center in NYC last night.

I love how Antonioni presents two of the prettiest people ever to grace a screen — and demonstrates why they have no business being together.
