It's a miracle!
I have been ruthless and donated a lot of the "just keep it in case" craft materials.
And yes I still have two very big Really Useful Boxes full of craft behind me BUT there used to be three and I've got my die cutter AND small loom in the cupboard!
-
Another week of Christmas die cutting. Today was all about trees.
Why start so early?
In November I will have 17 card making classes with around 6 people per class. They will want to make more than one card each....

It was time to clear out some old t-shirts. Rather than stick them in the rag bag I've turned them into yarn. 🧶
I dug out some cotton DK in my stash so I've started on a rag rug.
No pattern, just working out the increases as I go -
Need to find a better background than our pale walks but here are 3 types of paper snowflake/star that we'll be making in the Care Homes this month
I wanted to get a picture before they get crumpled in transit

A sunny day after the rain.
Started with a slight autumnal chill which means it's time to re-start the crochet classes at The Wool Haven

Another 5 star review for the Beginner's Crochet Class -
Good morning
White Rabbit wonders if it's time to start hiding Easter eggs around the house -
Time to start preparing for April's classes.
140 eggs in 4 sizes: 3, 4, 5 & 6 cms.
All have had a coat of gesso, I'll check tomorrow for any missed spots and then bag 10 for each of the 14 classes.
They'll be decorated with marker pens and stick on crystal tiles -

Time to show you some of this week's makes
The pompom sheep have had a great response in the care homes.Even those that couldn't join in the making enjoyed the texture of the hanks of yarn and fluffiness of the finished sheep

I had just over 2 balls of yarn left over so since completing the cardigan I've made a detachable hood and cowl to match.
I'm going to be very warm on my way to crochet next winter

Then some berries to finish off

#MarchMeetTheMaker Day 1: Brand Origin
We moved to Glasgow at the end of 2012. I signed on while looking for work and my Job Advisor asked what could I do & had I thought of going self-employed.
10 years later...
Thinking of a business name was hard.
I'm sat there pulling my hair out "Something Crafts" when my daughter walked through with her Ceefer Cat and the light bulb lit up.
