I feel like it's one of the few things you could do with the franchise without #Kojima, since you're just copying his work.

Only real requirement to me is that you need #DavidHayter, but I think #MGSDelta made that happen, so maybe it's actually possible.

Studio execs don't care about #UnrealEngine5 optimization.

They will put resources on how the game is presented rather than how well it runs, because the first sells and the second doesn't.

Case in point: #MonsterHunterWilds. Ran like shit, still runs like shit, sold 2:1 in PC, 10M+ copies and it's $70.

#MetalGearSolidDelta is a great game if you consider its hilarious tone and dated gameplay.

Also, V ran incredible, while Delta runs like shit. I'll wait for a sale (or emulate the original).

I'm sorry but Ocelot in #MGSDelta does not look like a real person at all, Ocelot in #MGS3 does. I wonder who else this possibly applies to in the 'remake', I think both Snake and Eva look fine.

Studios can get away by recommending an RTX 5090 to play. Performance optimization is not critical for development unless catastrophic (and even then).

The #MGS3 Remake, #MGSDelta is looking SO GOOD ughhh, most importantly it still even has that mind-boggling mechanic where if you spin Snake in the character viewer, Snake would vomit from dizziness when you exit the menu UI. Discovering that as a kid was the coolest shit ever, I remember using it to escape from prison, KO-ing the prison guard, Johnny in the process.

The #MGS series as a whole has a lot of cool shit like that, but MGS 3 especially has a ton of them (i.e. the 2 ways of skipping/ending the fight with The End early, giving The Fear food poisoning, etc.). It's too bad these creative mechanics weren't present in the last game of the series, #MGSV (maybe even #MGS4, I couldn't seem to recall anything unique and creative like that).
