The #MGS3 Remake, #MGSDelta is looking SO GOOD ughhh, most importantly it still even has that mind-boggling mechanic where if you spin Snake in the character viewer, Snake would vomit from dizziness when you exit the menu UI. Discovering that as a kid was the coolest shit ever, I remember using it to escape from prison, KO-ing the prison guard, Johnny in the process.
The #MGS series as a whole has a lot of cool shit like that, but MGS 3 especially has a ton of them (i.e. the 2 ways of skipping/ending the fight with The End early, giving The Fear food poisoning, etc.). It's too bad these creative mechanics weren't present in the last game of the series, #MGSV (maybe even #MGS4, I couldn't seem to recall anything unique and creative like that).

Es un juego que a mi parecer lo tiene todo. Hecho con mucho cariño al detalle en todos sus aspectos, desde la historia; increíble, compleja y fascinante, con varios personajes memorables. Hasta la jugabilidad; sólida, basada en sigilo y acción, que es a la vez desafiante y divertida. La banda sonora, la dirección de arte, la temática general me parecen 10/10. #MGS3 es una obra maestra, y probablemente el pico de la saga #MetalGear.

I guess if you prefer a more #mgs3 like experience, try out Portable Ops, if possible, the Plus version, since it has the most amount of content. Or maybe experiment with Metal Gear Acid, if you want something more oddball fufufu

Exited about the snake eater remake, not convinced Konami will make it justice, but it's my favourite MGS (with peace walker). I just realized Snake eater is almost 20 years old, and that stings a bit. Might do a Snake Eater fan art next. #metalgear #mgs3 #snakeeater

Simultaneously, #Konami will release a "Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection" which they quote, will be their "most complete compilation that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the series", with no details yet on what the collection entails (edit: #MGS 1-3 https://www.konami.com/mg/mc/us/en) and where it will be released (likely similar to MGS Delta). #MGSDelta will release on #Steam, #PS5, and #XBOX Series X/S.

One of my most favourite video games of all time is getting a remake, #MGS3. The Metal Gear Solid series on the #PS2 was what made me into video #games, to see a piece of it come back to life (even without #Kojima) is nuts.

Honestly? #MGS3 is the best of the lot. Admittedly a lot of that comes from the absolute banger of a theme song, but its status as a prequel means it's ostensibly more accessible, lore-wise, than some of the other games.
Then again I'm mildly convinced that MGS games follow an inverse of Star Trek movies, in its the ODD numbered ones that are the best.
(Nevermind the dozen or so spinoffs, but I digress).

@diogosnows im probably late but id recommend playing the hd editions, for #mgs2 and #mgs3 and #mgspw. They only change the gameplay to make it better: in #mgs3 where the camera much better and in #mgspw aiming is 100x better, because the original one was on a psp. What they basically do is what emulators do with graphics. Have you noticed some emulators have options to make graphics better, without making it look completely different? That’s what the hd editions do, but built in
