I propose that we modify the definition of "pint" so that conversion to liters (or litres depending on where you're from) would be eaiser. Redefine a pint to be exactly one half a liter. It's pretty close already, right?

Once you get to -40°F in the U.S., it is the same as -40°C at which point you are honorary Canadians, but without the "u", so not a real honour.
