So my poll evened out a bit in the end, which is a relief. But still, a family with a mother and 2 daughters, at least 1 of them is getting flashed by a pervert at some point … still doesn’t make me feel much better #metpolicefail #MetPoliceUK #metpolice

Cousins & Carrick served with the armed parliamentary and diplomatic protection command. As a UK-US dual national, I go to the US Embassy on occasion to renew passports. The armed officers on British soil carry conspicuously. After Cousins, I went to renew my son's passport. I saw the men with guns, gritted teeth, thought OK, bad apple. Now I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THEM. Anyone remember when the #MetPoliceUK attacked the #SarahEverard vigil? No one has been held to account for that.

My worry is that if there’s a crackdown on rapists and racists joining the MET, where are they gonna find work ? They can’t ALL become Tory Ministers. And I think the Royal Family is full up. #MetPoliceUK #policerapists

The head of the Metropolitan Police has revealed there are around 100 officers still employed by the force who cannot be 'trusted' to speak to members of the public.

Met Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said the officers are working under "very restrictive" conditions because "frankly we don't trust them to talk to members of the public".

Some 3,000 Met officers are not fully deployable due to concerns over mental or physical health or their performance, while a further 500 are suspended or on restricted duties because they have been accused of serious misconduct.
