So, getting cut-off from #Facebook means that I need to go to the #MetisPowWow this weekend... A lot of my #Metis friends were on FB -- so, time to exchange phone numbers!

Getting off Facebook is a relief, at least long term.

Everybody, please NEVER TRUST FACEBOOK, GOOGLE MICROSOFT,INSTAGRAM etc in any way.

They exist for one reason, usa spying on the world, the concept is clever, offer attractive services for free, users flock to them destroying sane alternatives.

So, getting cut-off from #Facebook means that I need to go to the #MetisPowWow this weekend... A lot of my #Metis friends were on FB -- so, time to exchange phone numbers!

#MétisPowWow was low in attendance (and vendors) this time around, but I had some quality time with both old and new friends, found a shiny object on the ground (which was someone's lost earring - how corvid of me), and some younger members of #Métis of #Maine (including my friends) had some ideas on how to make the space more inclusive to GBLTQ folks. They also wanted to see if there might be events during cooler months in the space -- it seems such a waste to not be utilizing it for more than just a couple events a year. But the next step is for me to apply for membership, so I can get more involved!
