I have a 6 metre QRP radio on loan and a vertical-ish antenna on the roof. Is there any chance for me to do meteor scatter?

Here is another spectrogram, now made with WSJT-X in FT-8 mode.I ignore the decoder and use only the wide graph at it's maximal size.

The small, nearly horizontal line at about 1/3 from top is a reflection from a meteor. All other curved lines are reflections from airplanes or satellites. The vertical line in the center (nearly invisible) is the directly received signal.

Signal is again the french Graves Radar at 143.050 MHz.

2018, Lyrid meteor shower, created from an overnight run of automated #astrophotography with my DSLR.

I have never done #meteorscatter. Pretty much the only way I'd get to do this mode is with an automated system. Which, sounds super fun to build. A sensor to detect paths, and then a radio to order to give it a shot.

In 5 days listenninng MS on 2m (in MSK144), I've heard more than 200 stations in 87 locators !
