Intense heat coming up into Northern Quebec could challenge all-time record in Kuujjuaq (33.1°C on 24 Jun 1999). This event's 850-hPa temperatures are similar to those of 1999 (~18°C), so the potential is there. However, the incoming smoke could dim surface heating a little this time around, so it could very well fall short.
Daily records should fall without problems for July 4 (25.6°C) and July 5 (27.1°C) though. #wxtooter #nunavik #meteoqc

Bon matin!

Encore un peu de neige cette nuit (environ 10cm). Les vents se sont levés ce qui cause plusieurs pannes mineures sur le territoire de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Dans la grande majorité des cas, la chute d'arbre chargé de neige ou de glace est en cause.

Environement Canada à retiré les avertisssement de neige pour le secteur du Témiscamingue, ce qui annonce la fin de la tempête prochainement.

Aucune fermeture de route dans le moment.
