Instagram está a punto de cambiar las reglas del juego de la navegación externa. Por primera vez en sus casi 16 años de historia, la red social de Meta ha comenzado a probar los enlaces clickeables directamente en los pies de foto (captions). Esta función, reportada por la bloguera Andrea Valeria, no estará disponible para todos: inicialmente será un beneficio exclusivo para los suscriptores de Meta Verified, marcando un nuevo estándar de «pago por funciones» en la plataforma.
Este movimiento busca transformar la forma en que los creadores y marcas dirigen tráfico a sus webs, eliminando la fricción de tener que enviar a los seguidores al perfil para pulsar un solo enlace.
¿Cómo funcionan los enlaces en el pie de foto?
Hasta hoy, cualquier URL escrita en el pie de foto de Instagram aparecía como texto plano, obligando al usuario a copiar y pegar. Con la nueva actualización:
- Hipervínculos activos: Las URLs se transformarán automáticamente en enlaces azules subrayados que abrirán el navegador interno de Instagram al ser pulsados.
- Límites por nivel de suscripción: Fiel a su nueva estrategia de niveles, Meta no dará barra libre. Los suscriptores de los niveles Plus y Premium podrán incluir hasta 3 enlaces por publicación, mientras que el nivel básico tendrá restricciones más estrictas.
- Prioridad en el Feed: Según los reportes, el algoritmo de 2026 favorecerá ligeramente las publicaciones con enlaces activos de cuentas verificadas, asegurando que el contenido con intención de compra o lectura tenga mayor alcance.
La estrategia: Convertir Instagram en un «Amazon» social
Este cambio llega en una semana de lanzamientos financieros masivos, como el anuncio de X Money de Elon Musk, y parece ser la respuesta de Mark Zuckerberg para retener a los anunciantes:
- Reducción de pasos: Al permitir el enlace directo en el post, Instagram acorta el túnel de conversión. Ya no es «Vea el vídeo → Vaya al perfil → Pulse el link → Busque el producto»; ahora es «Vea → Pulse → Compre».
- Monetización de la verificación: Meta está convirtiendo el «check azul» en algo más que una insignia de identidad. Al igual que WhatsApp Plus ofrece personalización, Meta Verified ahora ofrece herramientas de marketing profesional.
- Control del Spam: Al limitar esta función a cuentas verificadas (que requieren pago y DNI), Instagram evita que la plataforma se inunde de enlaces automáticos de bots y estafadores, un problema que precisamente Meta está combatiendo con sus nuevas funciones de IA de esta semana.
¿Qué pasa con los usuarios gratuitos?
Para quienes no pagan la suscripción, la limitación se vuelve más severa. Meta está probando restringir a los perfiles profesionales no verificados a solo 2 enlaces orgánicos por mes en sus publicaciones. Para publicar más, el sistema sugerirá contratar Meta Verified o utilizar anuncios pagados (ads).

I find it difficult to see the value in paying a premium solely for a badge that signifies perceived authenticity and visibility on a corporate platform. Za te wszystkie "wyjątkowe korzyści na Instagramie lub Facebooku" (czemu "lub", tego nie wiem, ale to trochę niepokoi) mamy zapłacić 11,99 USD lub 14,99 USD z działką dla Google lub Apple.Oczywiście jest zastrzeżenie, że w zasadzie wszystko może się różnić, ale przyjmijmy że w Polsce oferta będzie pełna, a cena jak wyżej.
Przy dzisiejszym (06.07.2023) kursie USD w NBP, wynoszącym 4,1191 PLN, to abonament miesięczny wyniesie od 50 do 62 złotych.
W skali roku to od 600 do blisko 750 złotych.
Mam niejasne wrażenie, że to jest już kasa, którą zdecydowana większość użytkowników chętnie zainwestuje w inne rzeczy.
⛔ Czego nie ma?
No cóż, w ofercie tego konta nie ma ani słowem wzmianki o bardzo wielu rzeczach, które dość naturalnie wiążemy z płatnymi kontami:
• brak reklam;
• brak kolekcjonowania danych o użytkowniku;
• brak wpychania mu przez algorytm treści, które to platforma uważa za warte promowania;
• brak lepszego i trwałego ustawienia wyświetlania treści, np. faktyczna kolejność chronologiczna jako domyślna;
• brak faktycznie działającej wyszukiwarki treści.Można tak jeszcze długo, ale to będą tylko kolejne przykłady dowodzące wydawania całkiem sporej kasy za nic. Facebook w tej chwili jest nieużywalny i z tym kontem nie będzie lepszy.

Instagram just opened up #MetaVerified to the #UnitedStates 🇺🇸 & it seems much more reasonable than #Twitter’s pay-for-checkmark approach (the price for both is very high though).

@atomicpoet I am still peeved I had to subscribe to #Twitter blue in order to disable SMS 2-factor authentication!
That said, #TwitterBlue does have a few nice features. However, outside of search, it's practically worthless as the algorithm is awful on Twitter now.
#MetaVerified is a step up from Twitter Blue, but the latter is allegedly having issues verifying people's identification.
