I've been bringing back the ideas of web rings in the 1990s web world for the modern #openmetaverse as we begin to form rings with portals where we can walk between our web worlds easily with trusted links between our community members. It's early stage, but the #MetaTraversal portal crawls are an early template of how 3D web rings could work for the #WebXR communities

90s things like #webrings are new again

In our #opensource #XR testing of #openmetaverse connected worlds we successfully tested jumps across many 3D sites in a webring last week

Walked thru a wide variety of portals between worlds last week in #webXR demos testing a 10-world metaverse social jump with #MetaTraversal

Now to sort out the toughest parts of #UX #interoperability that came up during these load test challenges, especially how we can stay on the same page and in dialogue together
