CW: rant, jni, native libs
Whenever I have to load a native library (like @opencv or in this case #Metashape ) in Java, I love how uninterested the C++ world is: "There's bindings available. Just download the Jar, add the native library to your library path and load it with System.loadLibrary("myLibrary") 🙄" But: How do you expect me to ship this thing with a thousand extra native libs?

Work in Progress of a fibula 3D scan. The corroded and damaged original was digitized using 300 Pictures and Metashape.
The clip is a short screengrab of the 3D model in Matcap mode.

@alienmelon Thanks! I recently helped a visual artist from #Uniarts in #Helsinki publish a dataset for his #photogrammetry artwork.
The model can be opened in #Blender but the author used #Metashape. Is #Meshroom a valid alternative?
