Revolution mit dem Tanzbein: Dying Fetus Live @ Summer Breeze Open Air 2023

Dying Fetus ist ein Trio, das aus John Gallagher, Sean Beasley und Trey Williams besteht. Die Band trieb zunächst im Underground ihr Unwesen, bevor sie die Szene des extremen #DeathMetal/#Grindcore eroberte, die sie nicht mehr verließ. Mit ihrer brutalen Optik und den ultraschnellen #Gitarrenriffs hat die Band einen festen Platz in der Szene.

Obwohl die drei Jungs von Dying Fetus (gegründet 1991) als alte Hasen des Death Metal gelten, haben sie es geschafft, mehr als eine Generation von #Metalfans zu begeistern. Diese Erneuerung des Publikums ist das Verdienst von John Gallagher und seinen Kumpels, die sich über alle Trends hinwegsetzen und nie von ihrem aggressiven Stil abgewichen sind. Und nach den jungen und älteren Fans zu urteilen, die sich im Graben austoben, hat sich die Beständigkeit gelohnt.

Vor ein paar Tagen erschien das aktuelle, neunte Studioalbum "Make Them Beg For Death". Auf metal.de erschien eine treffende Rezension.
