So once I'd given up on Messier 4 I moved to Messier 5, another globular cluster. Again not my favourite astronomical object, but it could be done quickly, and here it is without much enhancement, and the composition turned out pretty nicely, there's some interesting stuff there.
It was a lot further away from that naughty (almost) full moon.
