I made a test ROM for the Oeka Kids drawing tablet for Famicom based on the description at NESdev Wiki. I had someone with a tablet try it.
It didn't work.
The tablet's slow microcontroller requires a lot of waiting in the read routine. The MCU turned out to be so slow that reading a pen position took 67 scanlines, or one-fourth of an NTSC frame. Neither Mesen nor FCEUX modeled this slowness.
It took three revisions before I had a read routine I was happy with. All for a silly little Anpanman licensed game.

The Democrats need to get up and all over the TV now in Maine about how much of a coward Susan Collins is to vote in favor of the conspiracy monger, anti-vaxxer, and all around liar RFK Jr for Health and Human Services.
He is not qualified to run anything and argued (and won) in court that he has diminished mental capacity because of his brain worm.
Collins is up for reelection in 2026. She must be defeated.

Het Rijksarchief ontving gisteren een oude oorkonde van de Vlaamse graaf Filips van de Elzas. Het bezegelde perkamenten document dateert van 1176 en behoorde toe aan de abdij van Mesen. Het verdween samen met een honderdtal andere historische documenten tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog, en werd onlangs teruggevonden in de collecties van het Metropolitan Museum in New York.
