Very weird place to start a dive into the collected works of Norman Cook, playing bass for a #Rock band sounding rather like The Smiths, though more jaunty and jangly. I'm not sure what this strain of UK #IndieRock is officially called, but it sounds like #Merseybeat to me, just with #80s production standards. Oh, and big ol' piano solos too.

I'm sure this has fans - seemed to chart really well - but I've but a passing fancy for it.
