#MerryClayton - "White Feather Wings" (1970)
Has that easy, orchestrated MOR feel common in #soundtrack pop of that time, but Merry's strong #gospel background lifts this #JohnPhillips song into something approximating angelic - I find myself soaring with it again and again. IMO the film this was taken from (Brewster McCloud) beats the slightly later, more heralded Harold And Maude every time.
