Alle, die #Mermaiding machen, haben irgendwann mal angefangen. Oder tun das gerade, werden es noch tun, ... Ihr wisst schon.
Beim Südhessenschwarm wurde ich damals sehr lieb an die Flosse genommen und als Neuling willkommengeheißen – und das finde ich super wichtig. Klar kann niemand gleich alles, und einige lernen schneller, andere langsamer. Aber es geht darum, gemeinsam Spaß zu haben, und das ist alles, was zählt 🤗

About last weekend.

Am Sonntag war ich zum ersten Mal überhaupt mit im Alldomare – der Fulleschwarm Nordhessen trifft sich dort einmal im Monat und das Bad heißt Merfolk richtig cool willkommen 😊 Diesmal waren vom Südhessenschwarm viele mit, sodass ein toller, bunter Schwarm durchs Wasser glitt. 🧜🏼‍♀️

人鱼在大众概念里显然是一个高度#男性凝视 的形象，所以它才引发了这么多关于种族、关于性别、关于形体的争论，因为在父权社会下，种族、性别、形体的「美」的定义都是被父权牢牢把控的。

这部#纪录片 剧集看似讲述小众产业（所以茧中局域网自行起的标题是#人鱼商战），但实际讲述的是在这个小众行业生存的边缘化个体的。从75年前水上乐园清一色的白皙、纤瘦少女人鱼们，到今天不同种族、不同性别、不同体型的人鱼家族，人鱼们一点点夺回了属于自己的对美的定义权。
就像大海容纳一切，从幻想世界而来的人鱼概念也足以容纳所有人；就像水天然地给予所有生物承托，这个小圈子也天然地接纳了所有的不合群者、不切实际者。无怪乎那么多人表示只有在水下的世界祂们才能更自由地呼吸。

这原本应当是陆上世界也提供给每个人的生存方式呀。

I've never been to #WeekiWachee, but as a kid we'd go to classic roadside attractions like #ParrotJungle, #MonkeyJungle, and the #Miami #Serpentarium (#BillHaast draped a large constrictor across my outstretched 10-year old arms - so awesome!)

We weren't allowed to swim at Miami Beach, but #VirginiaKey, the "#Negro" beach, was closer to all the fun (as an adult, I don't include the #Seaquarium in that).

Recuperating from the rain with a fun watch: MerPeople on #Netflix. Weeki Wachee here in Florida has always fascinated me. Our family has vacationed on Crystal River which is gorgeous. And I just love the #myth and #lore. And I'm a Pisces. lols. I highly recommend it. Some lightness and hope and beauty in a dark political world. 💜 🧜‍♀️ 🧜‍♂️
