Ho scaricato una app molto utile (per me) e divertente. Si chiama Merlin Bird ID e permette di riconoscere il verso degli uccelli.
Fin'ora mi ha permesso di identificare 5 specie tra quelle che svolazzano nel mio quartiere, facendomi rendere conto che ce ne sono molte di più.

The conversations were lovely and fun. 2. Got in over 13K steps! 3. Picked up the sounds of #sandhillcranes on my #MerlinBird app, and then saw 38 of them fly right over our heads! #Birds

First day back at work after a month of baby bonding leave. I'll tell ya, it was pretty nice sitting here with the window open (it's 34 F 😜) letting Merlin Bird ID listen to the neighborhood. It’s a real “round up the usual suspects” list, but I’m happy with the results. Not sure why I didn’t do this while on leave…

I’ve seen this American #kestrel (at least once saw pair) hunting in the field across from our house, have been hearing it/they a lot and getting many hits on the #MerlinBird app from the trees/wires on our property all spring. Finally got a passable photo to validate its existence.
