#Democrats renewed their bid Tuesday to block #Trump’s anti-mail voting executive order, arguing that a newly finalized #USPS rule has eliminated the concerns that led a judge to reject their first injunction request as premature.
The filing — which argues that the USPS lacks the authority to regulate who receives a #MailBallot — is the first #litigation to challenge the order on its #merits.

#Euskotren parlons en... C'est fantastique qu'il existe, il est régulier et fréquent.
- Mais il n'est pas dans la base de données des trains européens #Merits.
- Il requiert un ticket de type #RER. Les nombreux passagers du TGV de Paris sont déboussolés. Les agents SNCF ne sont pas aidants.
- Il y a la queue aux guichets et automates.
- Les portiques ne sont pas simples à passer. Il n'y a qu'un seul sens correct pour insérer le billet. Dans la panique tout le monde se trompe.

#SCOTUS may do so "without considering the underlying #merits" of #Trump's action, the admin asserted.
That approach would set up the possibility of the court, which has as a 6-3 conservative majority, allowing broad enforcement of the #policy without assessing whether or not it is #legal.
The matter came to the court on a compressed timeline & with minimal written briefing.

“We cannot simply wind back the clock to how things were before the Court injected itself into this matter. Our intervention has already distorted this litigation process. We permitted #Idaho's #law to go into effect by staying the District Court's injunction in the first place, then allowed this matter to sit on our #merits docket for 5 months while we considered the question presented.
