New FM synth added to the Mercury Playground @mercury, coded with a single AudioWorkletProcessor inside a ToneAudioNode from ToneJS
It's a basic FM with a single modulator-(envelope)->carrier setup, and can be extended with extra voices and detuning to run 2-3 or more operators.
Syntax: `new synth fm index() ratio() fmShape()`

@mercury mercury-playground.cc now uses lazy-loading for the samples, which greatly improves the loading time of the website (pretty much instant now), and only the samples that you use in the code get loaded once they are played.
If you wanna force loading all the samples anyways, run: `set samples default`

A new effect is added in @mercury . It is a Karplus-Strong effect, based on a lowpass feedback combfilter, that can be tuned to the notes of your scale. The feedback can be positive (odd+even harmonics) or negative (odd harmonics, for a flute-like sound).

Mercury seems to be working again on iOS! (tested working in safari, chrome and duckduckgo app)
Maybe not the best device for live coding, but definitely nice for a quick sketch on a random location, or a just for checking the tutorials/examples.

I'm in the process of improving the fx(reverb) in the browser version of Mercury. The current webaudio reverb is quite limited and sounds terrible. But the upcoming version will have an implementation of the famous Dattorro reverberator https://ccrma.stanford.edu/~dattorro/EffectDesignPart1.pdf
