I agree.
Last year, when Trump started the dumbest trade war in history, I proposed a rapid finalization of the CAN-EU trade talks, #CETA, topped up by a wider and deeper integration process with the #EU, similar to the 1 the #EuropeanUnion went through, including #Mexico.
I dubbed this #CEUM.As the #EU and #MERCOSUR seem 2 have finalized their trade agreement, this could encompass all of the #America's, *but* the 🇺🇸.

@tycjan.bsky.social Mi przeszkadzają #pestycydy. Karmię moje zwierzęta ekologiczną paszą wytwarzaną we własnym gospodarstwie plus uzupełniająco kupuję paszę z certyfikatem ekologicznym (na pewno nie z Mercosur). A nawet zdarza mi się uprawiać soję na własne potrzeby.
Wiem, jakie są realia. Pasza z białkiem na poziomie pasz sojowych jest praktycznie niedostępna w Polsce. Nie dlatego, że rolnikom "nie przeszkadzają pestycydy" lecz dlatego, że rolnik nie ma prawie żadnego wyboru w tej sprawie. Tak działa "wolny rynek" przeciwko rolnikowi (i konsumentowi, któremu nie jest wszystko jedno, co je).

"This is an amazing contrast between the pictures and the text of the reporting.
The journalist is wearing a helmet. We see people throwing objects, fires in the background, smoke, hear muffled explosions (the tear gas being fired?).
Yet the reporting is indistinguishable from that in a situation where the journalist would be standing e.g. in front of a peaceful crowd holding protest banners.
I didn't notice a single word addressing the violence, the destruction, the attempted intimidation. Instead the descriptive words are that the farmers are "protesting," they are "not convinced", they are trying to "sway" the EU decision-makers.
The most blatant example of downplaying and ignoring violence that I've come across in recent months.
And no, I cannot imagine that the same kind of ostentatious ignorance would be on display if this were a climate protest, or an anti-AfD protest, or a palestinian protest, to name a few.
How is this anything but blatant journalistic malpractice, Deutsche Welle?
How does this kind of discrepancy not amount to taking sides where you are supposed to remain neutral?"
