  1. This is soo chill to look at. :)

It's #memtest86 accompanied by computer metal via Master Boot Record. Spoiler: the ram check is successful without errors.

  2. Decided to try rearranging and reseating the RAM again. Now it detects all 3 gigs, though it looks like one of the modules is marginal. One specific #Memtest86 test gets one address line to fail, and not consistently. Might be a matter of giving the stick an IPA scrub and a shot with the air duster?

  3. Heute gegen eine der heiligen Grundregeln verstoßen und verschiedene RAM-Riegel miteinander vermischt. 😱😱

Mal schauen, wie problematisch das tatsächlich ist.

  4. Every problem comes with a learning. This was freezing randomly, and as a part of the diagnosis, I learned about +. Since then, I've been running these tests on all my machines. 🤓

  5. My PC has started randomly freezing again, I had really hoped it was only a software issue but I’m not so sure now. Running #memtest86 to rule out any memory issues.

  6. Any #ARM #ARM64 enthusiasts or maybe power users even know of a #MemTest86 for our architecture? Thank-you in advance.

  7. Whoomp! There it is 🥳

Must have been the fastest #Aliexpress order to date: ordered on Sunday, delivered on Thursday.

I’ll let it run #memtest86 overnight to check RAM.

  8. *sigh* after yet another #server #crash we are back #online #mastodon #community

We have the #software running as a VM on #proxmox and various components broken off as #containers such as #redis #sidekiq

    kernel:[1475111.773698] watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#4 stuck for 55317s! [kworker/u24:5:3420512]

    KILLED the #OCI for SIdekiq.

When we tried to access the container we'd see this

    After #memtest86 passed

After a reinstall then upgrade of libraries we still encountered this style #error

    [45920.657279] traps: init[708291] trap invalid opcode ip:79ea058b6da2 sp:58b6da0 error:0 in libc-2.31.so[79ea0584e000+159000]

Anyways we created a new Sidekiq server.

But now we see a "split horizon" type issue, not all can see the #posts that are seemingly half processed.

For instance, what is the last #meme you see posted to @donkey ?

to get posts processing we have to #boost and #favorite a particular post for it to show up.

    Any guidance here #developers #admin

  9. Lately, when booting my computer, I had strange behaviors: either #grub would show itself twice and then tell me it couldn't load the kernel, or it would tell me "bad page state in process swapper." Turning off and on my computer a few times would make it boot. I read online it meant my RAM or drive was dead, but #memtest86 had 5 successful passes, and no errors on the drive were reported. It turns out that updating my #asus motherboard changed the RAM voltage. Setting the correct value fixed it

  10. + 7.0.0 is out: github.com/memtest86plus/memte
