still amazed that in MS&T they spend half the first book with simon day dreaming and still get around to introducing the white walkers, that winter is coming, and winter actually comes halfway down the continent with no signs of stopping
5 books and 2.25 MILLION words into asoiaf and winter will be coming eventually i guess , i mean winter has finally fallen on winterfell but still unclear if it's an unusual amount of winter and the norns are still way up in the north behind the wall

Been continuing my #reread of #MemorySorrowAndThorn by Tad Williams. I'm on To Green Angel Tower now, and there are only a couple of things I vaguely remember that haven't happened yet. But I'm not yet into what would have been part 2 of this book, which now has me wondering whether I ever finished it before. I don't recall how it ended.
I think it's pretty likely that I never read part 2 of the book before. So that's exciting to look forward to.
