There are days when I have to consider that maybe smartphones have contributed a bit to some of the modern problems we see. Am working my way through the second draft of the book I'm writing, and I get to this conversation between two characters:
Character 1: So, did you do the hack?
Character 2: Nope.Me: --? What? I thought it was character 2 who was the hacker. Now I have no idea who was supposed to be the hacker.
I do a quick search for "hack" in my notes and the rest of the text and nothing helpful comes up. I must have thought it would be obvious.
I can't remember who did the hack! I hope the rest of the draft reveals it, otherwise I've got a problem! -

I’m really struggling with memory and executive dysfunction at the moment. I had gotten up early because the plumber said he was coming at 9am, and I had to leave to take my cat to the vets, so wanted to clear where he would be working and general tidy up.
