This #JimiHendrix song reminds of when we had illegal beach fires when I was 16. At Esquimalt Lagoon. Then the cops came so ppl ran. I was piggybacked by one of our athlete friends, way up to the sand dunes to a big opening. We'd throw armfuls of sand & plastic bottles at cops trying to climb up til the hill they gave up chasing us 🤣 Then we'd scream VICTORY! Before building big campfire atop dunes & dance around singing #FuckThePolice 😂

In the early 90s, my friend, Jen N, worked at #A&BSound in downtown #VictoriaBC & she introduced me to so much amazing music! One of those was #ShonenKnife - they toured here, back then. I loved them, after she introduced their sounds to me🎶❤🎸
