In Colombia I finally got a photograph of the famous ant-mimicking treehopper Cyphonia clavata. They're tiny and skittish, so not so easy as some of the larger treehoppers.
The mimicry works better from afar, where the weird pronotal outgrowths look a lot like ants.

A fun critter from my weekends outing. This is an Eggplant Horned Planthopper feeding on Willow. My new light diffuser is a huge pain in the ass, but I do like its nice soft light. It will require some major modification so I don't keep missing shots.
