ICE is rewriting the rules to hide deaths tied to its detention system. Under a new Trump administration policy, the agency will stop investigating and reporting deaths that occur within 30 days after someone is released from its custody. A person can leave detention gravely ill, die days later, and disappear from ICE’s public record.

Martin Soto was kidnapped by ICE on February 1st, 2026 while buying diapers for his eleven month old son, leaving his pregnant wife and two young children to fend for themselves on their own.
ICE has the power to release Martin via discretionary release. He does not need to be in prison to pursue his immigration case. Martin needs to be outside, with his wife and children.

What a fun evening to conclude a whirlwind few days! My friends MolMol, Spider an I collaborated on a Hot glass hangout event with a melting ICE theme. It was nice seeing folks there :)
We were able to unite and use our collective skills to make something none of us would have made on our own.
I have been a part of an led a few glassblowing performance/ events and some of the more exciting ones are led by groups of people where much more can happen since there are more people leading and this was no exception.
This project finally got me to buy Helium gas, completing my collection of the noble gases. The helium glows a strange warm white, is very resistive and runs hot- perfect for melting helium people out of the blocks of ICE they are trapped within.
I told Spider, get good documentation and take this performance proposal to other glass centers- there are some with amphitheater hotshop stages and cameras#collaboration #glass #ice #meltice #helium #neon #brooklyn #performance #nyc

He's rumored to be looking for the exits. If this is true it will likely be one of this inflection points for ICE/CBP goons' moral.
We saw this before in 2020, senior cops will follow orders and harm civilians bc they know there's not -much- accountability.
But if they are close to retirement age they don't even want to deal with the hassle of sham trials and internal investigations.

Sage felt connected to me & shared a lot about themselves, while I was working at the orchard. They gave me these two rad #MeltICE #activist patches that they made. I gave them one of my decolonize stickers. Sage recently came out as trans & was telling me how cruel some family & friends treated them after coming out. It was heartbreaking to hear. They are trying to build new, more supportive social circles & new found family ❤️🙏❤️

I don't want ICE anywhere. I agree with protesters in Milan and other Italian sites. Even if they aren't assaulting people on the street, invading homes, but are in their "secure" hotel rooms, they are still monitoring people's activities, and I'm sure they are sending facial recognition information to those servers in Utah or wherever Palantir and Peter Thiel hide out.
