i'm trying to figure out how to do dubstep drops, that's where i'm at right now. i got that buildup working decently, still tweaking a few things but i'm happy with it right now. so focus is the drop
idk if i've mentioned this but the 1st drop will be a mix between regular dubstep/melodic dubstep/colour bass. i have like 1/16th of it done, in terms of playtime. sound design wise i'm a looong way to go but that's fine i'm still learning
the 2nd drop is a secret but i'll say it's heavier

hmm i'm at a mental block
i'm done with the intro predrop, i'm currently working the buildup. what i have is, a piano, the sub, a faller, a crash, and then in the second half of it, the kick and clap rolls, and some marching sounds. that first half feels empty (second half too but i'm working on it)
i'm thinking maybe i should add a low-passed reverb only version of those marching sounds to it. but i think it'll need more than that
any ideas? it's a dubstep track, it's themed around star wars clone troopers

It's a wonderful #MelodicDubstep / #FutureBass track. I'm listening to MitiS since his "Lost" album (released 2021) where I had my "big #MelodicDubstep phase". And HALIENE is one of my favorite vocalists since I started actively listening to music (there are multiple songs with her lyrics/vocals that have quite a special meaning to me).
