In moving to the #Melbournre CBD to live I'm saying goodbye to familiar sights and sacred spaces.

For more than 20 years #Alma Park has been the place to take my child to play, a place to exercise and a place and sit and read.

It's been a place of contemplation and healing.

I have sat with friends and lovers among the trees and lawns.

The park is over 100 years old and populated by these magnificent trees.

I will say thank you to these gentle giants.

Thank you for your quiet vigil.

For your persistence.
