My new-to-me #Meindl Perfekt #hiking boots. Changed laces after I saw the pretty examples here: https://www.magazin-zuerich.ch/vollleder-wanderschuhe-von-meindl (The red-laced ones are Super Perfekt boots, but 🤷)
Used to frequent /r/goodyearwelt, but #Reddit today is... Well. Did learn a thing or two about #boots and #shoes. A Goodyear welt is recognizable by the stitching around the sole, and makes it possible to replace them. Lengthening the life of your boots!

Habe meine 14 Jahre alten Wanderschuhe beim Hersteller #Meindl neu besohlen lassen. Auf nassen Untergrund war es teilweise eine ziemliche Rutschpartie, das sollte jetzt kein Problem mehr sein.
135€ sind wahrlich kein Schnäppchen, aber vielleicht halten sie so noch einmal zehn Jahre.

Later deze maand start mijn tweede Grote Wandeling. Mijn schoenen en mijn tent waren aan vervanging toe en na lang wikken en wegen zijn het dezelfde modellen geworden. Ze blijven gewoon de beste voor mijn soort gebruik. #Meindl en #Travelforprofessionals

R.I.P. Meindl XO 7.0. Nach 12 Jahren ist mein #Meindl XO 7.0 endgültig durch. Er war der erste Schuh, über den ich im Blog einen Testbericht veröffentlicht habe. Er hat mir viele Jahre treue Dienste geleistet, davon die letzten Jahre als Arbeitsschuh im Garten. Mach’s gut!
