Visited 明治神宮 | Meiji Jingu yesterday

Photo is of 大鳥居 | Ōtorii | Grand Shrine-gate at Meiji Jingu. At 12m high and 17m wide, it is the largest myōjin style wooden shrine-gate in Japan (or at least, so the sign beside it says)

Felt like I needed some trees today. Went for a walk through Meiji Jingu shrine via Shinjuku. The shrine’s forest is a great shady walk for a sunny day.
