I rather like #T5 rules, but the whole #Megatraveller thing really annoyed me.

As a result I use an extension of the #GurpsTraveller universe, and, to some extent the #MoongoseTraveller rules.

But #ClassicTraveller is what I grew up with, so that is my home.

I've been reading through Megatraveller lore these past few weeks and one thing I keep noticing about the milieu and it's economic system, Capitalism, is the cycle of boom and collapse the Human sphere keeps going through, and how whole worlds are exploited then abandoned.
I don't know if the creators meant it as a subtle criticism of the whole Capitalism show or whether they really couldn't think of a Universe without it, but looking at it all with 2024 eyes it stands out.

Book fairy came yesterday. I picked up a variety of books that caught my eye.

While Manhunt was initially part one of three, I don’t think we’ll ever see the rest of it.

Terra Arisen looks like a fun early earth space exploration setting.

Sword of Cepheus is of course a fantasy adaptation of the Traveller rules.

Neo-Tokyo 2100 is a cyberpunk (genre) adventure for Savage Worlds.

The goodies I picked up. I have some of the PDFs already I picked but in some bundles, and of course some original copies in my collection. Apocrypha 3 is all new material to me, I’d never even heard of most of it.

The Classic CD is really loaded with goodies, not only all the books, but scans of the classic games too.
