In 2024 I designed the Ice Age Giants coin series, for The Royal Mint and the Natural History Museum, London. The coloured silver coins came with acrylic presentation blocks, here's my giant deer block artwork.

My art in 2023 (8/12)

August: Spring on the mammoth steppe. When the time came to do some art set in the Quaternary, I decided to depict a real life location and how it would have changed in the past few hundred thousand years. This spot is just west of Baden-Baden (which is in the glacier valley to the upper left), on the edge of the Schwartzwald. I also enjoyed depicting an ice age spring. It wasn’t always snow and ice.

Man #ActivityPub is just a lot

I did a bit of hacking on #Megaloceros, mostly migrating from #SurrealDB to SQLx and good ole #Postgres

Tried to dive into the actual AP side of things and immediately ran into a wall. That wall being type safety and JSON objects with variable shapes. I might just ditch the #ActivityStreams crate I've been using and try dealing with the JSON-LD myself ​:gura_think:​
