中國計劃在倫敦皇家鑄幣廠原址興建「超級大使館」，引發英國政界和居民強烈爭議。儘管政府一再聲稱審批不涉政治考慮，但多家媒體報導指批准幾成定局，或成首相施紀賢月底訪華的「見面禮」。

【綠豆直擊】倫敦 5.3 遊行有人被捕｜今日在倫敦皇家鑄幣廠舊址外，反對中國興建超級大使館示威由下午二時開始至五時結束。在示威進行大約兩小時後，有一名身穿印上 「急救」 （First Aid）字樣黃色背心，以黑布矇臉的示威人士被倫敦警方拘捕。
現場消息指他當時身在示威區外，被搜到身上有較剪。他被捕後被警車送到Charing Cross警署，據了解已安排律師支援。
