TIL that roadrunners don't go "meep meep" but make some weird chirping noise like a dinosaur. Of course I was reasonably sure they didn't go meep meep before, I just didn't know what call they made. Now I know.

One of my favorite exhibits at Brookfield. This time I was lucky enough to catch them at feeding time. This guy was celebrating his meal, even going so far as to roost up high showing off his catch. Intermittently he would slightly puff up his feathers and give three "coos."

Roadrunners are not that unusual in our desert neighborhood, but I've never been this close before.

I am secretly enjoying the torment over at camp Turd as they realize they spent that last 8 years campaigning against Biden. They spend hundreds of millions of $$. They created old tired memes to splash around… only to be passed by the roadrunner Kamala, who has only 3 months of hard campaigning to do in order to secure it all… meanwhile, camp turd is out of breath, dragging their asses to the cliff, and still dizzy from her passing them so fast they spun around. #MeepMeep!
