  2. Wow, PROSPERO look very different and it sounds like it is very different.
This is a great idea IMO

  3. I can't access the US Department of Labor CLEAR database now
    clear.dol.gov/
Clearinghouse for Labor Evaluation and Research
Very good database with added-value info about the strength of the evidence for different job-training interventions

  7. The first gen AI study that I really want to read (maybe even do):
1 recruit participants WITH DIFFERENT LEVELS of experience in evidence synthesis and searching
2 show them chatbot output for prompts like "pretend you're a medical librarian and create a SR search strategy to use in PubMed for my research question," using whatever the state of the art guidelines are for "prompt engineering"
3A ask the participants to evaluate the chatbot output

  8. For 1000 *protocols* of *living* systematic reviews, how many reviews get published, and how many continue to be updated on the original schedule? Anyone have an estimate?

  9. @chartgerink
#medlibs @medlibs scroll up and read the linked paper - we should be more aware of both the data sources/research method and of the issues of ghostwriting and, IDK how to call it - like astroturfinganipulates the public debate, except the scholarly debate

  10. This Is Just To Say
    by @msjennmo

    I have searched
    for librarians
    as coauthors on
    systematic reviews

    hoping for
    searches to adapt
    and cite
    for myself

    Forgive me
    I won't cite
    your review without
    a librarian coauthor
    so rigorous
    and so transparent

  11. Serious question: why would someone *want* to do an #EvidenceSynthesis project - #ScopingReview, #SystematicReview, #RapidReview, whatever - without writing a good protocol?
You're going to have to write up the methods *eventually* so why not do it now as you are starting, and get all the project management/clear communication benefits?
