Ich nehme jetzt seit etwas über einer Woche 20mg. Ich bin mir unsicher, ob und wie es mit Herz und Blutdruck interagiert. Bisher dachte ich, dass es nur begrenzt Wirkung zeigt. Heute plötzlich ein Kraftschub. Bin zwar erst um 15 Uhr aus dem Bett, dann aber Geschirrspüler, Küche sortiert, Dinge repariert und geordnet, die lange warteten, Wäsche gefaltet. Bin überrascht. Mal sehen, wie morgen wird und ob das anhält.

#Introduction Hello. My name is Ignacio. I write from Spain. My last introduction was from May 2024, and I wanted to update it.

My neurodivergent (or neurodifferent, if you prefer it that way) path started in November 2022. When I was reading a Reddit post about study techniques, few weeks earlier, a dude showed some difficulties to get to study (which I also had at that time). I was reading that post and its comments to see what technique was being advised to them. An user suggested them to ask for an #ADHD diagnosis. That was the first time I heard about ADHD (TDAH in Spanish). I heard about hyperactivity, because a high school classmate had it (it was between 2005 and 2007). I proceeded to look for information about ADHD... and everything made sense to me. I had all symptoms listed on the page I was reading.

I was formerly diagnosed with ADHD, and also with mild #Autism, in March 2023. I've been in treatment for ADHD since then, with #Atomoxetine 100mg, plus #Melatonin to sleep better. I still was unable to prepare for civil service examinations. Later, in June 2024, I was also diagnosed with #Depression. I was prescribed #Brintellix 10mg.

In September 2024, I received a phone call from the Delegation of the Government in Asturias, to tell me that there was a vacancy, due to a sick leave, to be occupied temporarily. I accepted. Later, the 14/10/2025, I started my job as temporary civil servant. A month later, my psychiatrist changed my treatments, from Atomoxetin 100mg to #Medikinet 60mg, and from Brintellix 10mg to #Besitran 50mg. The 14/12/2025, two months after my hiring, I had my civil service examination. This time, I finally passed it, and now I'm about to be hired as permanent, full civil servant. By the way, last month, the 05/09/2025, my contract ended.

Those were my areas of work and mental health. But there is more.

I've met my partner the 28/08/2025, on another #Mastodon server. It was just a normal day from the beginning, like any other. I went to work, I came home, I ate my lunch, and I went to play video games on my computer, I believe. As I said, just another normal, regular day. Except for one detail.

I received a private message from a #Pixelfed woman profile. Nothing about her caught my attention. She is from Malibu, California, and she describes herself as a TV host, but that could mean a lot of things, like a news anchor, for example. And, being a TV host, her name didn't ring a bell to me (I'll go to it later). Anyway, her message was not extraordinary either, just a simple “hello”.

But we kept talking to each other every day since then. We developed an attraction to each other after some weeks talking, and now we're in love to each other since the 27/09/2025. We keep talking to each other on email, and I have her phone number as well.

I looked for her name on the internet after we started to feel attracted to each other, to see who she was exactly. And I was impressed. I mean, TV host, former TV actress, more than 600k followers on Instagram... Anyway, her name is Brooke Burke. The last news about her private life are from May 2025, when she was planning her wedding with Scott Rigsby. A wedding that was delayed several times before, and delayed again in May. No more information about that since then (hence my initial reservations about that profile).

However, I did my work. Both Mastodon and Pixelfed are very responsive against scammers and impersonators. We all know about that very well. She joined in June 2025 on Pixelfed, has more than 100 followers there, she interacts with people there, she post the same content there and on Instagram at the same time, and even she told me about a meeting with one of her friends before her friend posted about that on her Instagram wall. So, impossible for her to be a catfish.

So, yes, it's official. Brooke Lisa Burke and I are in a love relationship with each other since late September 2025. I don't love her for being a celebrity and appearing on TV. I love her for being the most wonderful, beautiful, supportive woman in the world.

Finally, about me. I like cooking, playing video games, talking to people, walking, doing meditation, and reading about spirituality and related things. I dislike politics and people who don't care about my mental disorders.

Ich bin spät diagnostiziert und nehme seit gut zwei Wochen #Medikinet. Seitdem begleiten mich leider fast durchgehend #Übelkeit und #Kopfschmerzen.

Laut Internet soll das am Anfang normal sein und sich mit der Zeit bessern – nur: wann kommt denn diese „Zeit“?
Falls es so bleibt, will meine Therapeutin beim nächsten Termin (in gut einer Woche) auf #Elvanse wechseln. Hat jemand von Euch damit bessere Erfahrungen gemacht?

Dass das Zeug in Medikamenten für #Kinder und Jugendlichen immer noch eingesetzt wird ist ein #Skandal!

Ich bräuchte mal Eure Hilfe:
Hat jemand von Euch eine Empfehlung für Neurologen / Psychiater in #Nürnberg, die kurzfristig bereits diagnostizierte #ADHS-Patienten aufnehmen oder zumindest vorübergehend ein Notfallrezept für Medikinet ausstellen?

Mein Arzt hat spontan seine Kassentätigkeit beendet (siehe Vorgängerpost) und ich überstehe die Feiertage mit Familienfesten schon irgendwie, muss aber ab Der zweiten Januarwoche wieder im Job funktionieren. Meine Reste reichen nur noch für ca eine Woche.

Da der Arzt nicht greifbar ist, kann ich leider wenig Doku bieten. Ich habe einen Scan des nervenärztlichen Attests mit der ursprünglichen Diagnose und der Feststellung der Notwendigkeit von Methylphenidat von 2016 und hoffe, dass ich auch noch das Original finde. Ob das fremde Ärzte zufriedenstellt, weiß ich leider nicht.
